Messages of Faith, Hope, and Love
The Apostle Paul concluded I Corinthians 13 with this Holy Spirit inspired statement, "and now these three remain: Faith, Hope and Love. But the greatest of these is Love."
What better way to conclude one of the greatest revelations in the New Testament. Having read this passage many times, I believe the word "Hope" was strategically placed by the Holy Spirit between the word "Faith" and the word "Love." Let's look at it this way:
- I Corinthians 13:7 says that, "Love always Hopes"
- Hebrews 11:1 says that, "Faith is the substance of things hoped for..."
- Hebrews 6:19 says, "this Hope we have as an anchor of the soul."
Allow me to quote you a life changing verse that always points you to victory over every trial, tribulation or testing that we will ever encounter. (I Corinthians 10:13) says, "No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it." Now, I have listed six (6) key focus POINTS for SUCCESS and the VICTORY over the god of this world:
- There's nothing new under the sun therefore, you're not the first one and will not be the last.
- Jesus will never leave or forsake you, He is as close as the spoken Word.
- He knows what you can endure;
- The creativity of God is awesome in that He'll always show you a way out.
- He will use the storm or trial to perfect, establish, strengthen and settle you.
- Focus on the walk through the tunnel instead of the light at the end of the tunnel.
