Greetings Family,
We live in a world where everything changes and nothing seems to be constant. However, “the Word of the Lord endures forever.” (I Peter 1:25) The Apostle Paul made a profound statement to the Corinthian Church (family) when he said, “we must through many tribulations enter the Kingdom of God.” (Acts 14:22) For this reason, I believe that God has established one of the greatest blessings the world has ever known, “a large family.”
This leads me to expound on the vision that God has placed in my heart. “Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their work; if one falls down, his friend (family) can help him up. But pity the man who falls and has no one (family) to help him up! Also, if two lie down together, they will keep warm. But how can one keep warm alone? Though one may be overpowered, two (family) can defend themselves. A cord of three strands (family) is not quickly broken.” (Ecclesiastes 4:9-12) What God is showing me is that there is a divine flow in relationship such as in the Church, families, marriage, communities, alliances, friendships and even corporations. God has shown me that relationships empower “The Church.” Sometimes we make the mistake of thinking that position empowers the Church or ministry.
Called by God as a Gift to the body of Christ, I have been given an assignment in fulfilling God’s purpose in the Body of Christ. First, “to Shepherd the flock of God not by compulsion but willingly, not for dishonest gain but eagerly, nor as being lord over those entrusted to me, but being an example to the flock…” (I Peter 5:2-3). Second, I have been entrusted with the Gospel of Jesus Christ to establish a people through the precious Holy Spirit, who will be strong in Faith, Hope and Love.
Thank you for joining with us as we build the Church (family) of God in the unity of His Spirit and eternal Love.
